Changing Your Language Settings in Windows 8
To change the language in Windows 8, you need to install the desired language pack first. Follow these steps:
- Move your mouse to the bottom right corner and select Settings.
- Click on Control Panel.
- Go to Clock, Language, and Region and select Add a language.
- Click on Add a language again.
- Select the language you want and click Open.
- Next to the language, click Options.
- Click Download language pack.
- The language pack will begin to download and install.
- Once installed, repeat step six and click Options.
- Click Make this the primary language, then log out and back in to apply the changes.
Note: If the language has multiple variants, select the one you prefer and click Open.
